Guests Joined CAFT for an Afternoon in Paris!

CAFT Ladies Lunch raises £39,000!
This year 300 guests joined our Ladies Lunch fundraiser for an Afternoon in Paris. On arrival to The Mere Golf Resort & Spa, guests were welcomed with a reception drink of Kir Royale before they browsed the fabulous selection of exclusive shopping stalls. 2 luxury raffles on offer gave the chance to win a Mulberry Handbag sponsored by Kellands (with an LK Bennett handbag as 2nd place) and a Viventy jewellery set, sponsored by Randalls Altrincham.

 Host Nathan Moore called guests through to their seats where they each received a luxury goody bag filled with beauty products thanks to The Hut Group and L’Oreal.

Dinner service soon began.. but not before 3 “waiters” burst out into song including Be Our Guest!, La Vie en Rose and Lady Marmalade to name a few. The incredible singers soon got the room on their feet!

The 2 course dinner included a typical French menu of Coq au Vin and Lemon & Blueberry Choux Bun followed by tea, coffee and chocolates.
 
Made up of 10 amazing prizes, Gareth Walton ran the live auction with highlights including;
  • A stay in the beautiful city of Paris (with thanks to Emma Mackley Travel and B Signature Hotel & Resorts)
  • Peter Kay tickets with a chauffeur service
  • Gilpin Spa & Spice (with thanks to Gilpin)
  • Gilpin Lake House stay (with thanks to Gilpin)
  • A weekend break for 8 in the Lake District (with thanks to Ian Eccles)
  • Hamilton tickets with pre show cocktails

A further 9 prizes were available in the silent auction, in addition to over 20 prizes in the grand raffle!

With all prize giving concluded, guests got back to the dance floor with fabulous entertainment from Nathan Moore until the day came to a close.
