English 3,000ft’ers – POSTPONED

Due to the Covid-19 crisis and current restrictions, we had to postpone this event. We will be in touch as soon as we can with further information and new dates.

Join us for this fantastic weekend of trekking in the Lake District!

There is only 6 peaks over 3,000ft in England, and they are all in the beautiful Lake District, Cumbria. On this challenge we are looking to conquer 5 of them, starting with Scafell Pike (highest peak of England) and another 3 on day 1 , finishing with Helvellyn circular walk on day 2. This challenge combines arguably some of the most scenic walks in the UK and beyond.

We will leave CAFT on Saturday at 7.30am. After dropping our overnight bags at the accommodation in Boot, Eskdale, we start the day’s 10-mile walk. On return we will celebrate with BBQ dinner. On Sunday after breakfast we will be transported to Glenridding by the Ullswater lake where we start our 8-mile circular walk which includes the beautiful Helvellyn. We return home that afternoon.

£75 to register, £150 minimum sponsorship. It includes accommodation (bunkhouse style), food (BBQ dinner, breakfast and pack lunch), guided walk.

Limited places available.
