Bollin Way in a Day
Saturday 14th May
One Day – 25 Miles
Have you ever spotted the ‘Bollin Way’ signs on your walks, and wondered just where it starts and where it finishes?
The River Bollin rises in the Pennine Foothills and flows through Macclesfield, Prestbury, Wilmslow, Hale and Bowdon, eventually running into the Manchester Ship Canal (ie, the Mersey) at Bollin Point. The Way follows the river and is also a spine route giving access to a wider footpath network.
We are offering our supporters an opportunity to complete full 25-mile trail in just one day! This is a great intruduction to the endurance walking, as the route is relatively flat.
We will meet near the end of the route in Partington at 6am, and will then be transported in our minibuses to the start of the trail in Macclesfield for a start of our epic walk. The route will be supported by guides, together with support vehicle, which will meet us at different points of the route to provide refreshments.
To take part, please make £25 entry donation here and raise £50 minimum sponsorship.
